Sabrina Erschen: Palestine, Pakistan, and Africa

The sky becomes darkened as it is overwhelmed with planes of unwanted company. A bomb is dropped, disturbing the air, the earth, and the people that call this land home. As the bomb drops the people flee, running for their lives. As they run screaming, they turn to look back and watch their homes explode and shatter into the clogged air..Their homes have been blown up before them and now running, they have nowhere to go, and nothing to use as defense towards bombs and guns, except for stones and rocks..Palestine is no match for its attackers..

They sit in their homes drinking chi and quietly admiring the rain storm outside their windows. They peacefully exchange soft kisses on the cheek, a "Shabakhar", and sweet dream wishes..Hours later they are awakened by rain drops drumming onto their home, "You sure its rain?! Could it be something more?!"..As they open the front door, their hearts sink, stomachs twirl, and eyes widen. With no time to act, a huge wave of water unwelcome-ly enters the home. They try to run, but with nowhere to go the water water lifts them off their feet..Waist level..Shoulder level..Chin level..The water has over come them and the panic they are facing is unimaginable.. Heads bob and gasp for air but soon there will be none left.. Under the water, their hearts struggle to beat and their minds struggle to repeat "Ash haduan lailahaillAllah waash haduana Muhamadrasulilah"..Their lives are taken while others are left homeless and starving... Pakistan is no match to what has become its enemy..

She sits in the corner of her little hut with her baby in her arms. Her husband is nowhere to be seen, for what she thought was 'true love' became true pain. Shes left alone, to provide and care for her family. Tears silently drizzle down her cheeks, as the baby in her lap gazes up at her face with his innocent eyes. His little fingers tug on her shirt, but shes empty of milk and has nothing to offer him. He starts to whine and his whine soon turns into a piercing scream resembling his hunger. She tries to comfort him but she doesn't have what he wants, what he needs..Her apologizing tears continue to stream down her face..They sit together crying.. Their stomachs sing a grumbling lullaby that soon puts them to sleep..With nothing to fight back with, the hunger slowly kills them..Africa is no match to its dilemma..

Palestine wants the freedom of Africa.
Pakistan wants the dry-ness of Palestine.
&
Africa wants water from Pakistan.
None of them are a match to what has attacked them</3
